There comes a point in fall when home starts to feel different too.

The windows close a little earlier. The kitchen feels warmer. The days are getting shorter, and you start reaching for scents that feel a little warmer too.

That’s what I wanted Harvested Orchard to capture.

I love autumn scents, but I didn’t want to create something overly sweet or filled with heavy cinnamon and spice.

I wanted something that still felt like Nature’s Dew.

Bright citrus. A little spice. Warm woods underneath.

Like an orchard in autumn, when there’s still some warmth in the afternoon but you can feel the season settling in.

Mist. Breathe. Settle.

SCENT EXPERIENCE

Harvested Orchard starts brighter than you might expect from a traditional autumn scent.

Sweet orange, bergamot, and lime bring a fresh citrus opening. Petitgrain and ho wood soften that brightness before black pepper, ginger, and nutmeg bring in a gentle layer of spice.

Cedarwood, amyris, and vetiver sit underneath everything with a warm, woody finish.

It’s warm and seasonal without becoming heavy, overly sweet, or strongly spiced.

If you like the feeling of autumn but traditional pumpkin and cinnamon scents aren’t really your thing, this is my version of an orchard-inspired fall scent.

CRAFTED WITH INTENTION

Harvested Orchard has quite a few essential oils in the blend, but every one has a reason for being there.

I wanted the scent to have brightness first, warmth second, and enough wood underneath to keep everything grounded.

Sweet orange, bergamot, and lime create that brighter opening.

Petitgrain and ho wood help soften the transition into black pepper, ginger, and nutmeg, which give Harvested Orchard its gentle autumn spice.

Cedarwood, amyris, and vetiver create the warmer, woody base.

Together, they give me the feeling I was looking for: autumn without having to rely on a lot of sweetness or heavy spice.

The scent comes entirely from pure essential oils. No synthetic fragrance.

RITUAL

Mist into the air or lightly over suitable linens whenever you want your home to feel a little warmer and more seasonal.

I especially like Harvested Orchard in the kitchen and living room later in the afternoon, when the daylight starts fading and everyone begins settling in for the evening.

It’s also an easy one to reach for before guests arrive or whenever you want the house to feel a little more like fall.

As the season moves along, it becomes one of those scents you associate with this particular time of year.

Shake gently before use. Mist into the air as desired. When using on linens or fabrics, test first on a small, inconspicuous area.

I don’t think autumn has to smell like pumpkin or heavy spice to feel like autumn.

For me, Harvested Orchard is citrus still holding onto a little brightness, gentle spice beginning to come through, and warm woods underneath it all.

A different kind of fall scent, and one I look forward to bringing back when the season returns.
